EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a type of psychotherapy that helps people process traumatic memories and heal from distressing life experiences. During EMDR, patients focus on a back-and-forth movement or sound while recalling a traumatic memory. The goal is to help patients reduce the vividness and emotion associated with the memory and replace negative thoughts with more positive ones. EMDR can be used to treat children, teenagers, and adults.
